The New Video Board: The new video board at Byrd Stadium was a priority of Coach Friedgen when he arrived at Maryland to help with recruiting and to provide a more enjoyable atmosphere for the fans. It has been a tremendous addition along with the new stats board and sound system. The sports marketing department and Kitay (the operating company) are always looking for ways to make the board's production even better.
